Can I wear my silk apparel wintertime?

There are many features that are known about silk fabrics, but when owning silk clothes you may wonder if they can be worn wintertime.

Yes, but with some caveats. As it known silk has few features which are unique in all types of fabrics. Thermoregulating feature is one of them. 

The fact is that silk fabric has a very low heat capacity. In contact with the skin, it instantly takes on body temperature. Exactly because of that it is felt on the skin as something soft and tender. And even if the outside temperature drops below zero, in absence of wind (we remember that silk has high breathability), the fabric will not let you freeze for a short period of time. It is quite enough if you decide to wear a silk tracksuit from LAHOV in a cafe or restaurant in winter.
